Overhead doors
At Kinema, we understand the importance of selecting the appropriate lift type for your overhead sectional doors in order to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs. Our overhead door solutions are designed to provide architects with ample opportunities and freedom of choice to fully customize the solution to their needs.
Sectional doors open vertically, which creates free space in front of and behind the door. The door sections are stored flat underneath the ceiling, vertically above the opening, or along the roof, depending on the specific requirements of the project.
Our product range includes solutions for virtually every application, and we also offer custom solutions designed according to the client’s wishes, to meet even the most complex special requirements without compromising on safety. Our team of experts will work with you to find the best solution for your facility, providing you with a safe and efficient overhead door that meets all of your needs.
Sectional overhead doors
At Kinema, we understand that each project is unique, which is why we make doors according to the specific measurements of the opening, the height of the room, the slope of the ceiling, and other relevant factors. We will work with you to choose a suitable door that fits your specific needs and requirements.
The amount of free space above the door determines the type of lift that can be used. The most common lift types include:
- Low lift: This type of lift is used when there is not enough space between the top of the door and the ceiling to mount a torsion spring to the lintel.
- Standard lift: This type of lift is primarily used when the door height is relatively close to the ceiling, but there is still enough space for the door to move and for torsion springs to be mounted to the lintel.
- High lift: This type of lift is generally used when the door height is significantly lower than the ceiling height and there is ample room for the door to move upwards.
- Vertical lift: This type of lift is used in buildings with high ceilings, allowing the door to be opened vertically along the wall above it.
Our team of experts will work with you to determine the best lift type for your project, ensuring that the door functions efficiently and safely. Contact us to find out more about our overhead door solutions and how we can help you.
Full-vision doors
Kinema overhead doors are suitable for many other buildings besides industrial ones. For instance, our doors are used in fire stations, bus depots, automobile repair shops, exhibition halls, logistics centers, and in many other sectors.
You have the option to choose doors that are either fully or partially glazed – allowing as much light in as possible. In car parks and garages, it is recommended to use a door with a screen for better ventilation.
As a standard solution, an anodized aluminium frame E6/EV1 is used. The frame can be painted according to RAL, NCS or DB colour charts.
Different glazing solutions are available: insulating or ventilating.
Spiral doors
We offer high-speed spiral doors for a variety of commercial and industrial applications. Our spiral doors are designed to open and close quickly, providing a barrier against drafts and maintaining temperature control in the building.
Our spiral doors are a modern and innovative solution, utilizing a spiral system and chain drive to roll up the door. This allows for smooth and uninterrupted movement, making them ideal for busy logistics centers and factories. They also provide an added level of security, deterring intruders from accessing the building.
Our spiral doors are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and are commonly used in industries such as logistics, trade, food, and pharmaceuticals. With a long maintenance cycle and springless lift mechanism, our spiral doors have low maintenance costs, ensuring long-lasting performance.
